UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

On June 19, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers identified and located the unknown male involved in this investigation. 

A 22-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with uttering threats to cause harm. 

The male is scheduled to appear in court on a later date. 
 

PREVIOUS MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an incident involving uttering threats in Kitchener.

On June 19, 2026, at approximately 8:20 a.m., police responded to the area of Wilson Avenue and Fairway Road South after receiving a report of an unknown male uttering threats.

When officers arrived, they located the victim; however, the male suspect had already left the area on foot.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
