Waterloo Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a suspicious incident in Elmira.

On January 10, 2026, at approximately 3 a.m., a male entered the backyard of a residence in the area of Killdeer Road and First Street in the Town of Elmira. The male is described as approximately 5’7”, wearing dark, baggy clothing and a black beanie.

Police are asking residents in the area to review any home or business security cameras between 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. for footage that may assist with the investigation.
