WRPS Arrest Male After a Firearm Related Call in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after responding to a weapon-related call in Waterloo.
On April 15, 2025, at approximately 10 a.m., police responded to reports of a male brandishing a handgun at a residence in the area of High Street and Weber Street North.
Through investigation, police determined the male allegedly pointed the firearm during a verbal altercation.
There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident.
A 19-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with the following: two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and point firearm.
The male was help for a bail hearing.
