WRPS Arrest Two Males in Cambridge Home Invasion Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two males in relation to a home invasion in Cambridge.
On November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., police responded to a residence in the area of King Street East and Montrose Street for a report of a home invasion involving a firearm.
Two males gained entry to a residence, stole personal property from the victim and left the residence. There were no physical injuries reported at the time of the incident.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, on November 30, 2024, a 33-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Break and enter- commit indictable offence
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of a weapon contrary to order
- Point firearm
On December 5, 2024, a 29-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Break and enter- commit indictable offence
Both accused were held for a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ Robbery Team.
