WRPS Arrests Cambridge Man in Child Exploitation Investigation
The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Cybercrime – Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, in partnership with the North Bay Police Service ICE Unit, has charged a Cambridge man as part of an investigation involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM – formerly referred to as child pornography).
On February 4, 2026, officers arrested and charged a 52‑year‑old Cambridge man with the following offences:
Luring A Person Under 16 Years Of Age By Means Of Telecommunication
Agreement To Commit A Sexual Offence Against A Person Under 16 Years Of Age
Printing/publishing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
