Waterloo Regional Police have arrested three youths after a commercial robbery in Kitchener.

On February 28, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m., police responded to reports of an attempted robbery at a restaurant in the area of Ira Needles Boulevard and University Avenue West.

Three youths entered the business and attempted to steal products. A weapon was used toward staff members, which led to a physical altercation. The youths left the business prior to police arrival.

There were no reports of any physical injuries.

Police located the youths nearby and placed them under arrest and charged them with multiple offences, including robbery.

The youths were in police custody for a bail hearing.
