WRPS Continue to Investigate Assault and Break & Enter Incident in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an assault and break and enter incident in Cambridge.
On December 21, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault in the area of King Street East and Union Street.
Through the investigation, it was determined that the victim, a 21-year-old male was assaulted by two suspects while outside a residence. The victim returned to the residence and shortly after the two suspects forced entry into the residence and continued to assault the victim.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old Cambridge youth was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Break and enter
A 48-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with:
- Assault cause bodily harm
- Break and enter
- Assault with a weapon
Both individuals were held for a bail hearing.
