The Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Cambridge.

On December 29, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Townline Road near Coulthard Boulevard.

The collision involved a blue Mazda sedan and a black Hyundai sedan. Both drivers, a 24- year-old Cambridge female and a 25-year-old Waterloo male were transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The roads in the area were closed for several hours for the investigation and have since been reopened. 

The investigation is ongoing.
