WRPS Continue to Investigate Collision in North Dumfries Township

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit are investigating a collision in North Dumfries Township.

On November 23, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision on New Dundee Road near Stauffer Woods Trail.

Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the collision. Minor physical injuries were reported. 

As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration
  • Dangerous operation  

The roads in the area were closed for approximately three hours for the investigation and have since been reopened.
