WRPS Continue to Investigate Cyclist Collision in Waterloo
WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a collision involving a cyclist in Waterloo.
On December 13, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of Fischer-Hallman Road and Columbia Street West for reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a 61-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 30-year-old female, reported no physical injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the driver was charged with:
- Careless driving cause bodily harm
- No insurance
The investigation is ongoing by the Traffic Services Unit.
