WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a fatality pedestrian collision in Wilmot.

On October 25, 2025, at approximately 4:35 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Wilmot Centre Road near Bleams Road. 

The pedestrian, a 66-year-old Wilmot male was transported to an out-of-region hospital and pronounced deceased.

The driver, a 34-year-old male reported no physical injuries. 

The roads were closed for several hours for the investigation and have since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.  Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777 extension 8856.
