The Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision in Kitchener.

On December 24, 2025, at approximately 2:25 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of Queen Street South and Halls Lane for reports of a hit and run collision. 

Through the investigation, it was determined that the unknown driver left the roadway and struck tow light posts and a gas meter. The driver failed to remain at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
