WRPS Continue to Investigate an Overnight Shooting in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested three males in connection to a shooting investigation in Kitchener.
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting incident in the area of Lancaster Street West and Ash Street.
A 44-year-old Waterloo male victim was located and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On April 14, 2025, a 54-year-old male was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Forcible Entry. He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on May 8, 2025.
On May 2, 2025, a 52-year-old male was arrested for Aggravated Assault. He was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
On May 4, 2025, a 22-year-old male was arrested for Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Discharge Firearm with Intent, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to a Prohibition Order and Forcible Entry. He was held for a bail hearing on May 5, 2025.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS' General Investigations Unit.
