The Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Waterloo.

On January 7, 2026, at approximately 2:40 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Lexington Road near Anndale Road involving a Honda SUV and a Maserati SUV.

The driver of the Honda, an 81-year-old male was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Maserati, a 45-year-old female and the two passengers reported no physical injuries.

The roads were closed in the area for several hours for the investigation and have since been reopened

The investigation is ongoing.
