WRPS Continue to Investigate Two Vehicle Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Kitchener.

On May 8, 2025, at approximately 4:40 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a grey Tesla and blue Nissan at the intersection of Charles Street East and Sydney Street South.

Both involved drivers, a 41-year-old female and a 53-year-old male, both from Kitchener, were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. A 53-year-old female passenger in one of the vehicles was also transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
