WRPS Continues to Investigate Waterloo Residential Break-In
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break and enter in Waterloo.
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft (BEVT) Team are investigating a residential break and enter that occurred on March 14, 2025, in the area of Wasaga Crescent and Rideau River Street.
Unknown suspects forcibly entered a residence and stole personal property.
Police are requesting homeowners in the area to check their security cameras on March 14, 2025, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity.
WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
- Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
- Notify a neighbour and/or close friends when away to check on your residence, and bring in mail and packages
- Do not post about being away on social media
- Report any suspicious persons or vehicles on your street
