WRPS Continuing to Investigate Fatal Collision in Cambridge

WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Cambridge.

On March 13, 2026, at approximately 11:40 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a white Hino truck and a silver Subaru hatchback near the intersection of Maple Grove Road and Speedsville Road.

The driver of the Subaru, an 81-year-old Guelph male was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The passenger, a 77-year-old Guelph female was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Hino truck, a 50-year-old Kitchener male reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Maple Grove Road is closed between Boxwood Drive and Speedsville Road for the collision investigation.
