WRPS Continuing to Investigate Single Vehicle Collision in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
WRPS' Traffic Services Unit has charged a driver with multiple offences after a collision investigation in Kitchener.
On December 11, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pinnacle Drive and Thomas Slee Drive.
On December 18, 2024, police charged the driver of the motor vehicle with:
- Dangerous Operation
- Failing to Wear his Seatbelt
- Speeding 156 km/h in a 40 km/h zone
- Two counts of Stunt Driving.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The male is scheduled to appear in court in January 2025.

Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit is continuing to investigate a single vehicle collision in Kitchener.
On December 11, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pinnacle Drive and Thomas Slee Drive.
The driver, a 25-year-old male, and the passenger, a 23-year-old male, were both transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection remains closed for the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
