WRPS Investigating Shooting Incident in Kitchener
The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit is investigating after shots were fired in the area of Weber Street and Kinzie Avenue in the City of Kitchener.
On August 27, 2025, a 36-year-old male was transported to a hospital outside of the region with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, officers have arrested four individuals: a 36-year-old male, a 31-year-old male, a 20-year-old male, and a 40-year-old female.
At this time, investigators believe the incident was targeted. The investigation remains ongoing.
