WRPS Investigating Two Waterloo Residential Break-Ins
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating two residential break-and-enters in Waterloo.
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team (BEVT) are investigating two residential break-and-enters that occurred between May 16, 2025, and May 18, 2025, in the area of Willow Street and Erb Street East.
Unknown suspects entered the residential building, gained entry into two separate units and stole property.
Police are requesting citizens check their home security cameras in the area on May 16, 2025, from 8:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. for any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity.
Investigators would like to identify and speak to the individuals pictured below in connection to this incident.
Police are asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Do not allow strangers to enter the building through the lobby. Only let in people you know or who have proper authorization.
- Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
- Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Install audible noise alarm systems
- Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
- Notify neighbours when away for an extended period and arrange to have someone check on your residence
- Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police
