WRPS Locate a Loaded Firearm After a Disturbance Call in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Kitchener male after a firearm investigation in Kitchener.
On March, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Monte Carlo Street and Victoria Street South for reports of a person who may have been in possession of a firearm.
Upon arrival, police located the male and found a loaded firearm in his possession.
As a result of this investigation, a 31-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failure to comply with a release order.
There were no reported physical injuries.
The male will be held for a bail hearing.
