Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 39-year-old male following a commercial robbery in Kitchener.

On September 1, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., police responded to the area of Lawrence Avenue and Highland Road West for a report of a robbery involving a knife.

Officers located and arrested the male in connection to the robbery and for outstanding charges.

The accused has been charged with the following offences:

• Robbery
• Uttering Threats to Cause Death
• Cause Disturbance
• Mischief Under $5,000
• Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation

The investigation remains ongoing.
