Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are currently investigating a shooting in a Kitchener neighbourhood.

On March 1, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Ottawa Street South and Trussler Road. 

Officers confirmed that multiple shots had been fired into the front of a residence. There have been no reported injuries, and it is believed to be a targeted incident. 

Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit is currently investigating, and there will be an increased police presence in the area.

Investigators are looking to identify a silver two-door car that was in the area at the time of the shooting.
