WRPS Respond to Three Potentially Linked Robberies in Waterloo Region
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of robberies within Waterloo Region.
On July 6, 2025, police responded to three separate commercial robberies in Cambridge and Kitchener.
At approximately 10:45 p.m., four White males entered a business on Ottawa Street South in Kitchener and stole various goods. When the loss prevention officer attempted to intervene, the males made threats of violence towards the officer prior to leaving.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., four masked males entered a business on Pinebush Road in Cambridge and stole products. When employees went to intervene, the males made threats of violence towards the staff and left in a vehicle.
At approximately 11:50 p.m., four masked males entered a business on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge and stole merchandise. When employees went to intervene, the males made threats of violence towards the staff and left in a vehicle.
Police believe there may be a connection between the incidents, however they are being investigated independently.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
