WRPS' Special Victims Unit Charges Male in Indecent Act Investigation in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a report of an indecent act in Kitchener.
On May 28, 2026, at approximately 8:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a male committing an indecent act and chasing and grabbing children in the area of King Street East and Eby Street. A female passerby intervened and was then sexually assaulted by the male.
Officers attended the area, located the male, and placed him under arrest.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old male was charged with the following:
- Indecent Act
- Criminal Harassment
- Sexual Assault
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Special Victims Unit, and investigators believe there may be additional victims.
