WRPS’ Street Crime Team Investigation Leads to Hamilton Arrest
In December 2025, the Waterloo Regional Police Service Street Crime Team initiated an investigation into stolen vehicle components.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest was made, and search warrants were completed at locations in Hamilton.
During the searches, investigators seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and oxycodone pills, a significant sum of Canadian currency, electronic devices, and stolen and fraudulent vehicle components.

Following the investigation, a 32‑year‑old male from the Hamilton area was arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking Under $5,000
• Trafficking in Stolen Goods Under $5,000
The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
