WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating after Motorcyclist Fails to Stop for Police In Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a motorcycle driver failed to stop for police in Kitchener.
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:10 p.m., police attempted to stop a motorcycle in the area of Lackner Boulevard and Fairway Road North after receiving information from the automated licence plate recognition (ALPR) system that the vehicle had no insurance and the registered owner was unlicensed.
Upon the officer attempting to stop the motorcycle, the driver indicated that they would not stop, drove into the officer’s lane of traffic, overtook another vehicle, and fled the area.
A pursuit was not initiated due to concerns for public safety.
The motorcycle involved is pictured below. It is believed to be a Honda CBR 200-300cc.
The driver is described as a male, wearing blue jeans, a black tank top, and light-coloured “Gucci”-styled shoes with green and red stripes. The driver also had a distinctive skull tattoo on his upper right arm.
