WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Motorcycle Collision in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious motorcycle collision in Kitchener.
On May 17, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on King Street East near River Road East.
Through investigation, police determined that a Yamaha motorcycle rear-ended a stopped black Honda motor vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 32-year-old Kitchener male, and a rear passenger, a 36-year-old female, were transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 32-year-old Kitchener male, did not sustain any physical injuries.
King Street East was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
