WRPS's Traffic Services Unit Continue to Investigate a Cyclist Involved Collision in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a collision involving a cyclist in Kitchener.
On July 3, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Toyota motor vehicle and a cyclist at Westmount Road East and Ottawa Street South.
The cyclist, a 13-year-old child from Kitchener, was transported by to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old Kitchener male, was not injured.
The roadway was closed for several hours for the police investigation. The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Services Unit.
