Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Collision Involving Pedestrian in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Cambridge.
On August 19, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision between a white Toyota sedan and a pedestrian on Coronation Boulevard near Goldie Avenue.
A 39-year-old female pedestrian from St. George was transported to a local hospital with serious physical injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 54-year-old Cambridge male, did not sustain any physical injuries.
The driver has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Defective Braking System, both under the Highway Traffic Act.
Members of WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit are continuing to investigate.
