The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred in the City of Waterloo.

On August 28, 2025, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Central Street for a report of a robbery.

Through investigation, it was determined that the victim was assaulted by approximately seven males and one female. One of the males was reported to have been in possession of a knife.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam or surveillance video from the area at the time of the incident to contact investigators at 519-570-9777.
