WRPS Continue to Investigate Cambridge Residential Break-In
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter in Cambridge.
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team are investigating a residential break-and-enter that occurred on May 17, 2025, on Santa Maria Drive.
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence and stole property.
Police are requesting citizens check their home security cameras in the area on May 17, 2025, from 6:45 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. for any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity.
WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
- Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Install audible noise alarm systems
- Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
- Notify neighbours when away for an extended period and arrange to have someone check on your residence
- Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police
