WPRS Arrest Male After Search Warrant at Kitchener Grow Operation

Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male in connection to a grow operation in Kitchener.
On May 21, 2025, members of WRPS’ Drugs and Firearms Unit with the assistance of the Kitchener Fire Department completed a search warrant at a commercial building in the area of Borden Avenue South and Charles Street East.
Officers located and seized 3500 cannabis plants.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Cultivate, propagate or harvest any cannabis plant at a place that is not their dwelling house
The accused will appear in court on June 27, 2025.
