WRPS' Major Crime Unit Investigating Kitchener Sexual Assault
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police's Major Crime Unit has laid charges in connection to a sexual assault in Kitchener.
On May 20, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted at an establishment in the area of Queen Street South and Charles Street East.
On May 29, 2025, police arrested a 29-year-old Waterloo male, and charged him with the following offences:
- Sexual assault cause bodily harm
- Forcible confinement
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
