WRPS' Special Victims Unit Investigating Suspicious Person Report in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person in Kitchener.

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., a youth was walking on the Iron Horse Trail and reported being followed by an unknown male made several attempts to interact with the youth.

The unknown male followed the youth into Victoria Park, where she sought assistance from a parkgoer.

The male is described as Black, approximately 6’, with curly hair, wearing a red and black plaid shirt, beige pants with cargo pockets, and black running shoes with white soles.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the male pictured below in connection to this incident.
