Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Robbery Involving a Weapon in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a robbery at a plaza in Waterloo.
On August 15, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., police responded to the area of Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street North for a report of a disturbance.
A male attempted to steal items from a store when averbal confrontation ensued. The suspect brandished a knife towards the victims. One victim was assaulted in the argument and suffered minor injuries. The suspect then left the area prior to police arrival.
The suspect has been described as a white male, 40-50 years of age, a scruffy grey beard, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, black sunglasses, and a blue backpack.
