Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male Following Weapons Incident in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after responding to a weapons-related incident in Kitchener.
On September 16, 2025, at approximately 6:25 p.m., police were called to the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Doon Village Road after receiving reports of a male brandishing a knife near a business.
Through investigation, police determined that a male brandished a knife and directed it toward two youths during a verbal altercation.
There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with the following offences:
Assault with a Weapon
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
