Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the City of Kitchener.
On September 17, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., police responded to the area of Fischer Hallman Road and Glasgow Street after receiving a report of a robbery.
The victim and the suspect met at the location to complete an online buy and sell transaction. While inspecting the item for sale, the suspect fled from the seller. The victim gave chase in an attempt to retrieve the item, at which point the suspect brandished an edged weapon and fled into a nearby residential area.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 16 to 20 years old, between 5'8" and 5'11" tall, with a medium build.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam or surveillance video from the area around the time of the incident.
