Police Make Arrest in Break-and-Enter at Fairview Park Mall
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a commercial break-and-enter that occurred in June in Kitchener.
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 3:05 a.m., three individuals arrived in a vehicle at Fairview Park Mall and forced entry into the mall by smashing a glass door. They proceeded to a business inside the mall, where they broke into display cases and stole several cell phones valued at nearly $4,000.
Forensic evidence located at the scene led to the identification of one of the suspects.
On September 18, 2025, investigators located the suspect operating a stolen vehicle in Peel Region. He was arrested and transported to Waterloo Region for a bail hearing. The accused was also found to be in breach of a Conditional Sentence Order.
The male, a 38-year-old from Mississauga, has been charged with the following offences:
Break, Enter a place - commit indictable offence
Possession Break In Instruments
Disguise with Intent
Possession of Stolen Goods Over $5,000
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
