Police Continue to Investigate Assaults in Elmira – Additional Victims Sought

Waterloo Regional Police Service continues to investigate reports of a female assaulting pedestrians in Elmira.
On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to the area of Arthur Street and Church Street after receiving reports of a female assaulting individuals in the area.
A 61-year-old Waterloo female was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault cause bodily harm (two counts)
- Assault (three counts)
Investigators believe there may be additional victims who had interactions with the suspect and are seeking to identify the individual in this photograph who may have further information.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to reports of an unknown female assaulting pedestrians in the area of Arthur Street and Church Street in Elmira.
Officers attended the scene and identified a 61-year-old female from Waterloo. The female was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Police have reason to believe there may be additional victims who had interactions with the suspect and are encouraging anyone with involved to contact police.
