UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following an ongoing investigation in Waterloo.

On September 20, 2025, at approximately 6 a.m., an unknown male suspect attended a residence on Brigantine Drive and caused extensive damage to a vehicle parked in the driveway. This incident is part of an ongoing investigation into repeated damage targeting the same vehicle, dating back to 2023.

As a result of the investigation, on October 3, 2025, a 47-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:

• Criminal Harassment
• Mischief Under $5,000 (six counts)

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on November 18, 2025. 

The Waterloo Regional Police Service wishes to thank members of the public who provided information that assisted in the investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of vandalism to a vehicle in Waterloo.

On September 20, 2025, at approximately 6 a.m., an unknown male suspect attended a residence on Brigantine Drive and caused extensive damage to a vehicle parked in the driveway. Damage included scratches to the driver’s side door, spray paint on the driver’s side doors, and a deflated rear tire. 

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the individual pictured in connection with this incident.
