Waterloo Regional Police Service has laid charges following a motor vehicle collision in Kitchener.

On November 2, 2025, at approximately 12:10 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision in a parking lot on Courtland Avenue East near Block Line Road.

Through initial investigation, it was determined that the driver of a grey Ford lost control and struck the storefront of a business. There were no physical injuries reported.

As a result of the investigation, a 67-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration
• Dangerous operation
