Police Arrest Male Following a Weapon-Related Incident in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police Service has arrested a male following a weapon-related incident in the City of Kitchener.
On November 6, 2025, at approximately 12:20 p.m., police responded to reports of a male brandishing a knife near the intersection of Highland Road West and Patricia Avenue.
Through investigation, it was determined that the male had a verbal altercation with the driver and passenger of a motor vehicle, which escalated to him brandishing a knife.
There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident.
A 24-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Two counts of Assault with a Weapon
- Two Counts of Breach of Probation Order
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
