Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Disturbance in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male after a disturbance in Waterloo.
On June 9, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a disturbance at a residential building in the area of Wissler Road.
Police arrived on scene and located a male that had sustained injuries from an edged weapon.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old Waterloo male has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a disturbance in Waterloo.
On June 9, 2025, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a disturbance at a residential building in the area of Wissler Road.
Police arrived on scene and located a male that had sustained injuries from an edged weapon.
The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the involved individuals are known to each other.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
