Waterloo Regional Police are investigating multiple reports of fraudulent sales involving electronic projectors across the Region of Waterloo.

Between August 7, 2025, and October 9, 2025, police received fourteen reports of individuals attempting to sell electronic projectors from vehicles. These items were falsely represented as high-value products and offered at significant discounts. After purchase, the items were found to be misrepresented and of poor quality.

Police are urging members of the public to remain vigilant and avoid purchasing items from unknown vendors operating outside of legitimate retail locations.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding these incidents to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service at 519-570-9777.
