Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Hit-and-Run in New Hamburg

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision in Wilmot Township.

On November 12, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., a 13-year-old pedestrian was crossing Union Street near Huron Street in New Hamburg when struck by a white vehicle turning from Huron Street onto Union Street. The vehicle did not stop and fled the area.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening physical injuries.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white sedan or SUV and may have front-end damage or a damaged side mirror.
