Police Make Arrest and Seize Drugs & Currency in Drug Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male and seize drugs and currency as part of ongoing drug investigation.
In September 2025, WRPS’ Street Crime Unit initiated a drug investigation. Through the investigation, a 23-year-old Kitchener male was identified as being involved in a drug trafficking operation across the region.
On November 14, 2025, investigators completed a search warrant on vehicles and a residence in connection to the investigation. As a result, investigators seized suspect cocaine, a large amount of currency and drug packing.
The 23-year-old male was arrested and charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with judicial release (two counts)
- Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
