Police Arrest Five Males After an Armed Robbery at a Cambridge Mall
Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Cambridge Centre Mall.
On November 17, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police responded to the mall after receiving a call from security regarding a stolen vehicle linked to earlier robbery offences.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that five suspects armed with handguns, sledgehammers, and duffel bags were actively robbing a jewelry store inside the mall.
In the interest of public safety, officers entered the mall and engaged the suspects. All five individuals were arrested shortly after the incident. Two loaded 9mm handguns were recovered during the arrests.

The suspects include a 22-year-old male, a 19-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, and two 15-year-old males, all from Toronto. They were transported to Central Division and held for a bail hearing on charges of robbery with a firearm.
These individuals are believed to be involved in four other robbery and firearm-related offences earlier in the day in Waterloo, as well as similar offences in other jurisdictions. Those investigations remain ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated.
