Police Continue to Investigate Bear Spray Incident in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate after receiving a report of a weapons incident in Cambridge.

On November 24, 2025, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the victim was riding their bicycle near the intersection of Elgin Street North and Avenue Road when they were approached by an unknown driver of a vehicle and sprayed with bear spray.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
