Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two Males Following Break-and-Enter Investigation in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two males in connection to multiple break-and-enters in Kitchener.
On December 1, 2025, at approximately 3:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress at a business in the area of Belmont Avenue West and Karn Street.
Through investigation, police determined that the same location had been targeted on several occasions over the past week.
Officers located two suspects a short time later and placed them under arrest.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old male from Kitchener has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000. A 48-year-old male from Waterloo Region has been charged with four counts of break and enter and two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Both accused parties were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated.
